The project explores the fragile relationship between memory, perception, and the passing of time. It takes inspiration from eye floaters — tiny imperfections within the vitreous body that drift across our field of vision, becoming visible traces of the eye itself.
These fleeting forms reveal moments when the eye becomes more than an instrument of seeing. Its physical presence enters the image, blurring the boundary between what we observe and the mechanisms through which we perceive it.
Through fragments of everyday life, familiar interiors, and personal memories, the series reflects on family, nostalgia, and the impossibility of holding on to passing moments. Individual experiences gradually lose their distinct outlines, merging into an abstract substance where only a feeling remains.
