Beauty Look explores the construction of beauty in contemporary visual culture, questioning the relationship between physical appearance, photographic representation, and the ideals shaped by digital media.
In a world where carefully curated images increasingly define how we perceive ourselves and others, photography often becomes a tool for constructing an idealised version of reality. Digital post-production allows us to reshape, enhance, and reconstruct appearances, gradually replacing imperfections with layers of artificial perfection.
The project examines the boundaries between the original photograph and its digitally altered representation. By revealing the processes behind image manipulation, it challenges our trust in photographic authenticity and questions whether we value the reality of a person or the perfected image presented to us.
